Ok, I can understand when gas was in the $0.13 range, making it $0.135 is a large percentage increase. I can also understand back then you would want to make $0.24 gas look A LOT cheaper by saying $0.239. But when fuel prices are $1.50-$5.00/gallon, everyone appending 9/10 of 1 cent to every price is just silly!

Art Vandelay in 2008!!!
Are you tired of mediocre candidates? Have you asked where are the
Kennedy, Regan, Eisenhower (or even just a Nixon or Carter) level
candidates? Are you sick of what the parties are pumping out?
Let's send a message! Write-in "Art Vandelay" for President when you
vote. If we get enough on this write-in, maybe it will send a signal to
our parties that they need to mentor and support REAL candidates.
Spread the word!
(I'm not Art Vandelay, but I support this message)
Thought of the day
I like Vitamin D milk. But I wonder, how do you milk a vitamin?
Crabby Resident of the Day
Check out this letter (attached) that someone in our neighborhood left on all the mailboxes this morning (before 630am, so the person really wants to be anonymous).
Before opening, please note that this letter is full of misconceptions. I think our board (at Kingwood Community) is AWESOME.
Nielson WANTS ME!
Ok, I am saying it here because I believe if I say Nielson wants us to do a survey we can't be used. Well, they have been leaving messages, mails, a silly amount of effort to reach me to do some silly survey. WE DON'T WANT TO DO IT. and I have mentioned it here, so you can't use us now. AHHHHHHHH!

Blast from the past - Excelsus! BBS
oh my, out of boredom, I searched Yahoo! for Excelsus! BBS and found someone mentioned it in forum in 2003!
http://www.clinteastwood.org/forums/index.php?topic=1199.0
Excelsus BBS ran on an Atari 520STfm and then an Atari 1040STf from 1988-1992. 1st only on single sided, 360K 3.5" floppy (BBS software AND data!) then ended up on a 50MB hard disk. It was actually one of the 1st (maybe THE 1st) BBS in Hampton Roads, Virginia to have blazing fast 2400baud access. Only had 1 phone line the entire time.
